Welcome to Lighthouse Bay Bocce!
We are thrilled to offer this fantastic amenity to all residents, providing a space for recreation, competition, and community connection. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to try something new we encourage everyone to join in on the fun.
During the season (January – March) open play is posted at the bocce courts since open play is very limited. LHB has a men’s league (six to a team) and a mixed league (six to a team). Sign-up begins in November and runs through the middle of December. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
During the off season (April – December) Tuesday and Saturday mornings are reserved for all women. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings are reserved for all men. Afternoon and evenings are open to all.
To ensure everyone enjoys a good experience, we kindly ask all players to follow the rules posted at the courts. In addition, we ask everyone to do the following:
- Ball Handling: Balls should only be rolled, not thrown.
- Footwear: Please refrain from wearing high heels, as they can damage the courts. Tennis, pickle ball or flat shoes only
- Fans: Fans are available for your comfort, but remember to turn them off when done playing.
- Umbrellas: For sunny days, umbrellas are available in the chair area. After use, fold and tie them securely.
- Food and Drink: Smoking and drinking are prohibited on the courts. Please enjoy food in the open area surrounding the courts.
